So I just bought what I thought was a 2002 gt...come to find out it has a S281 Saleen drive train front to rear. Even has the stickers under the hood telling what Saleen belts to use and what tune it has. I have no idea how to confirm what this is, but as I said it needs some work, i went on American muscle and ordered all this, it is in my box but I haven't closed out the order yet. I was hoping for some feed back before I seal the deal. Here is the list of what I have in my cart,,,

Modern Billet Retro Style 5-Speed Shift Knob - White (79-04 All) [remove]$9.99$9.99
Black Floor Mats - Pony Logo (99-04 All) [remove]$89.99$89.99
Mach 1 Chin Spoiler (99-04 GT, V6; 99-01 Cobra) [remove]$59.99$59.99
BBK Rear Upper & Lower Control Arm Kit (99-04 GT, V6, Mach 1) [remove]$299.99$299.99
Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates (94-04 GT, V6, Mach 1; 94-01 Cobra) [remove]$209.99$209.99
Eibach Pro-System-Plus (94-04 V8 Coupe, 99-04 V6 Convertible) [remove]$999.99$999.99
Also bought drilled and slotted rotors and pads
And I will be needing a clutch pressure plate, tob and, pilot bearing, maybe a flywheel if it is blued...any thoughts if I should do something else? Also of anyone may know why my traction controle light is on and won't come off, maybe you could point me in the correct direction..
Thanks, it's nice to be back here after so many years driving a Camaro..lol

Consider the MM Xtreme LCA's. I had Steeda's uppers and lowers, switched and felt like a a brand new car when launching it or driving it hard.

Also be sure to PM our AM rep here for the discount code!

Clutchwise, Centerforce and RAM are the go to brands, along with a 03/04 Cobra clutch.

Your traction control light could be on due to an ABS issue. Is your ABS light on?
