Drivetrain What Brand Of Carrier Bearings Come Stock In Ford 8.8's?

Im putting a true track in my truck because I blew up my spider gears. I want to try to get it as close as I can backlash wise by using the stuff ford used. Im only doing carrier bearings and a new crush sleeve unless the pinion bearings are rough. Dont jump to conclusions I will be setting the back lash to spec I just want to use the same bearings as OEM so that Im close. I think they used timken but im not positive.

Probably Timken. Keep in mind it probably has BS thick factory shims and you are gonna need some thin ones in an assortment. P.S. if you have one its written on the race.

I have a big assortment of factory single shims. I think the big shims are easier to manage.

Easier to manage, harder to find the right combo. Most of them are very close in size in my experience.
