    George.

That's awsome. Never to young to go to prom. You didn't even have to ask someone to buy the beer for you.:D

I paid for the fancy dinner and she bought me the boutonniere. It was allot of fun. Not the kind of music I prefer but hey, it was a free affair and we got to drink for free. :)

I didn't attend my HS prom because I was working that evening. Not to mention I considered it kinda lame as did my circle of friends at the time (we were sort of the anti-establishment, non-school function types).

However, if I had attended, I'd have probably driven my father's 1974 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a 4-barrel 455 c.i. V8. My father always tended to order the largest optional engine available from the factory when he purchased a new car. :nice:

....if you were referring to "drinks" as alcohol, when did they start serving that at HS prom's???? And why in the hell didn't I attend that school if this was the case.....:nice:

    I took my 69 SS396 Chevelle it was a 375 horse with a turbo 400!
As I look back on those day's I wish i would have been smart enough to have kept a few of the cars i had back in the late 60's and early70's. I could be a
    very rich guy right now!!!

Ah yes, senior prom!! Way back when I was a spoiled brat at that time, a California Kid and I got to pick from a collection of cars my father had collected & restored! I picked & drove a Pristine 1938 Ford Woodie Street Rod.:) I had a smile, @#*% eating grin not only from my date I was taking, but from driving that car also!:D It was an appropriate car to take being from a beach town, Surf City and having a High School that always dominated & won State in Surfing!! All my surfing buddies loved the ride too! That was the last time that car has been out!! Its been in storage now for a long long time!!!:(

extream he's not joking about not letting his brothers borrow anything. I asked to to take it to the prom but he said no. But that still doesn't mean that i didn't hit 140 w/his car. but he got smart and started locking his car and taking his keys when he leaves. i'll bet anything he grills me in the morning.

We took a limo to the prom after all and it was a JACKED UP Lincon town car. It was rolling on 36inch boggers. I think i was a f250 4x4 frame, w/a towncar body. it was mean

It came down to the 2000 S281SC, red with a black top, or the Range Rover Supercharged Sport. Figuring prom was down town and peole were riding along, we took the Rover.

That was just a couple weeks ago.
