That's a good combo. I use a PC 7424, Menzerna polish, Pinnacle fine swirl remover, and some good ol' Natty's Blue wax, which smells delicious. My car's paint was real bad, so I had to use a yellow cutting pad, Menzerna polish, speed 6, and alot of high pressure/slow movement to get most of my scratches gone.

Using a PC is about as simple as it gets.

I used a Pinnacle clay bar, then followed up with the new XMT 360 which was unreal at getting the swirls/scratches out and then finished with natty's blue.

Just a few pics (all products from Autogeek)

Here are a few before shots after the car wash (NTS7) but before clay:

    Post clay (Pinnacle PolyClay)

Some light scrathes on my roof.

And the final product (after XMT 360 & Natty's Blue)

Notice the scratches are all gone!

I used Zaino for awhile too. Good stuff. But, after seeing what my bud did to the care with his PC, I now have one on order :D In fact, I was searching for it here and found a link to coastal tool. The post was over a year old, but the price was still good!

my only question is, for those of you that frequent the detailing forums, can you give me a rundown of all the acronyms? I know what PC is, but that's it. don't want to be all n00bish over there, but damn, they have WAY too many acronyms for a new guy to follow
