What gears for my application?

I know this type of thread has occurred many many times, but just bare with me.

Here's the breakdown (see car in sig):
- daily driver
- drive in winter and summer
- don't see any major power increases in the next 3 years
- have 225 tires all around, which stick alright
- moderate highway driving (1.5 hour trips a handful of times in the summer (lake, city))
- i eventually want to get a 2.2 KB, but that won't be for a LONG time, next power upgrade will be PI intake and cams, and maybe heads.
- i drive around 120-130 km/h on the highway

What would be the optimal gear ratio for my car?

If you are going to be naturally aspirated, then definately get the 4.10's. But if you really think you will supercharge it, then go with 3.73's.

Because you said DD, S/C in the plans and it's a 5 speed, I would suggest 3.73's.
I have them on my DD and I hardly ever use 1st gear. It's too short and I can take off in 2nd no problems. I also have a KB on my coffee table waiting to go in and now I'm really glad I didn't "fear the gear" or whatever and go with 4.10's.
