I'm looking to purchase a CHP long block for my Cobra. I'm probably going to sell the original motor but I don't know what its worth. It has 80,000 miles on it with a b303 cam and the stock GT-40 heads are mildly ported. It would include everything but the intake. The motor is still in my car and runs perfectly. Just need an idea about what to ask for it.

I fourth that.

Do NOT sell that motor, it is ORIGINAL, and maybe one day if you still have the car(10years from now), that ORIGINAL motor will be worth a NICE AMOUNT of money, and the car will be worth SO MUCH MORE with that motor in it.

KEEP IT!

It could not have been said any better. Look at how much those are going for now.

There are so many low/no mileage '93 Cobras out there that I don't think its going to really be a big deal if you sell you stock long block...
What a way to come spoil the day;)

You are right though, but there is no way I could part with it if I had one. No way in the world could I. I wouldnt even change the filter on a 93 Cobra, well ok I might put a K&N in it;)
