what kind of headers should i use

I have a 98 V6 and im not sure what kind of headers to get for christmas. What is the best brand: Mac, JBA, BBK, Hooker, etc.

And what is the difference in them.

MAC seems to have the most for our cars as far as options go. Hooker I don't think makes one for ours??? And JBA only make shorties.

Since most go with MACs, you're gonna want to get them HTS coated so they last a long time, which equals even more money. Most like longtubes here, or at least I do, but installation can be a pain.

As far as I can tell, Headers aren't really worth it on our car until you've got all the other bolt-ons at least. Our exhaust manifolds are pseudo-headers already, so for the $800 you'd probably spend to buy and install them, you'd probably be out $100/hp, which is no good.
