    Autos & sticks.

Curious as to how they compare w/ my SS - best ever was 24 of the highway, with someone else driving ! :rlaugh:

    Auto car , BTW.

I can't keep my foot out of it enough ( usually ) to get good mileage. :spot:

Any previews of what a new Mach will look like - I.E. w/ the new body style ?

    Will they get a 3 valve 5.4 ?

I know that new Shelby is one sweet looking ride ! :flag:

    Later !

The Mach's would look really hot in the new body style but I'm not sure if there are any plans to make a Mach quite yet. I know CDC has put out the shaker system though for the 05's.

My 5-spd Mach 1 has gotten as high as 28 mpg on a long road trip on the interstates, mainly in 5th gear (overdrive) maintaining a reasonable speed of about 60 mph. Around town, don't really know, but it's considerably less, since I've always got my foot in it, LOL!

I didn't really calculate it out exactly but when i first got my car in Ohio and drove it back to Texas(long ass trip) I averaged around 25MPG or so on the highway doing around 70MPH the whole way. I was pretty impressed.

I get 11mpg but I rarely hit the highway. I can go over a week w/out touching the highway & usually fill my tank more than once before ever venturing onto the highway. My car also desperately needs a tune. When I get on the highway I increase my mileage to about 21mpg.

I average (5 speed) about 23 MPG, 1/2 highway and 1/2 street driving, and getting on the highway is usually a "spirited" acceleration!
