What Turbo Kit Is BEST??? Twin or Single???

    Yea i didn't say but i was thinking 4 cylinder turbos...your absolutely right. But with v6's you already have more torque than 4 cylinder engines do for the most part so there is less of a need for twin turbo early spooling when designing a fun to drive vehicle...

    Yeah aftermarket kits are singles and newer car have been singles on 4 bangers because of better turbos are available. The SVO Cobra wasn't all that quick with stock boost and had a tiny ass turbo get that car to go anywhere. I was also referring to other turbo cars, not 4 cylinders. You wont find a twin set up on a 4 cylinder from the factory anyways. V6s(Japanese) and rotaries will have twins. Other than the lack of torque from the Rotary motor, twin turbos is selling point.

    Singles are better on inline motors while Twins are better on V8 shaped or other non inline motors.

    I guess when Kirky said that, I understood he was referring to the twin turbo stock cars that came out in the early and mid 90s.
