here's what I was thinking when they first came out with s197....

....I'd take this in Azure Blue with the 5.0 or another supercharged 4.6 and a 6-speed

I want an NA 5.0 Cammer (375HP or so) and a 6-speed! The rest is just details. Oh yeah, you can call it Boss 302 if you want :D

I'd like to see a deep chin spoiler, Flat Black hood with ram air ducts like the '71's had, although the '69 look is still one of my favorites I think the latter year look will set the car apart from the tuner-scene cars we see today.

Grabber colors are indeed important. A black spoiler of course. and it definitely needs a bigger, NA motor.

Hate to burst your bubble, but here's a dose of reality.

No way on "all Grabber colors". Due to production costs you'll be lucky to see 2 unique colors for any SE, with 1 unique color more like it.

No way on "two V8s the Boss 5.0 V8 & 5.4V8" same issue. This is 2006, not 1969. The costs to test & certify mutiple engines in a limited volume SE are prohibitive. Pick which engine you really want. The original Mach 1 came standard with a 351, but was best remembered for the 428 models. So in that light I'd vote for a similar high torqe mill, which would be the 5.4.

I do like the ideas of better seats and a new version of Magnum 500 style wheels.

Don't forget the black spoiler and the Shaker hood scoup along with BIG brakes, better shocks, springs, etc.

Azure Blue is not the same as the original Grabber Blue.
Current Grabber Orange is also not the same as the original from the 60s/70s.
Electric Green from the 99-01 was one of the most hidious colors ever sprayed on a Mustang. I have not heard that it's returning.

I'm not a fan of green vehicles except maybe British Racing Green Jag's & Mini's so any green on any mustang is a hard sell for me. Grabber Blue for the win!

I demand that those judges have their eyes tested. They have to be color blind. :rlaugh:
