They're all straight through, so they should be just as loud. Boom Tubes probably sound the best, as they actually have some sound shaping louvers in them. The other ones are too unrefined for me. They sound like your mufflers fell off, because that's essentially what they mimic.

Here's my opinion on the three:
    1. SLP- Very nice looking 4" dual wall tips. Very aggressive which is what I wanted. Just can't justify paying 350+ for dual walled muffler deletes.
    2. Pypes muff deletes- Very loud; good. I've never heard one in person but all the sound clips sounded like nascar. The noticable "mustang rumble" was absent during decel. A lot of popping and kind of raspy. Again although priced well 220-250 among other AB's, it still seemed a little pricy when a muffler shop can fabricate you some muffler deletes for half the price.
    3. Boomtube- I bought these because the mustang rumble was there along with the increase in sound. A lot of people think the welds are cheap, I have no problems. It's a 4" dual wall with a cheese grater looking louvers inside which do not have a packing material that can possibly degrade or blow out, and do there part to reduce drone and limit the popping sound. I got mine for 276 through LastCallRacing (one of our venders). I think they are about 300 right now. I picked mine up from the creater/fabricater in Temecula, CA and he is a good guy who will warranty the set for life if anything goes wrong. He told me he has never had to replace any of the 3K he's made.
Also keep in mind of the sound your choice will make with future mods. Many owners start out with changing the AB, get used to it, and then want louder. A change of the mid pipe or headers then produces an unwelcome drone, rasp, or just too much sound. These noticably louder with the stock midpipe and intake. I personally think any more would be excess as the sound can be easily modulated with keeping your foot out of high rpm. A x pipe is the common midpipe with a straight through muff. H pipe is common for chambered muff's like the flowmaster and macs.
Consider the SSS terminator AB as well. Well priced at 299.

On my '07 GT Vert, I only removed the mufflers and replaced them with 18" x 4" chrome tips with a pipe bent to match up to the factory pipe. The first trial was with smaller tips and the car sounded yuk.... We then went to longer and larger tips. The sound got deeper and more throaty and it is loud. What we found was the 4" tip gave it a throaty sound and the 18" length brought it to a deep tone. We originally had the pipe extending into the tip about half way. This was not good. We now have the pipe only 1" into chrome tip. The rest of the system is stock. People cannot believe that what I did produces the sound it does plus it was only $85.

Out of those 3, I would go with the Boom Tubes. They still retain some refined Mustang sound. The other two are just loud... No real depth to them. Sounds like a hillbilly pickup or nascar if you ask me.

No question you have to go with Boom Tubes. They are loud when you want them to be and nice and quiet when you are running down the highway. There is a little drone but that can be fixed with some dynamat if you choose to do so. What turned me off from the SLP and Pypes deletes was every clip I heard of them had a very raspy popping sound. For me I can't stand that, but the Boom Tubes have a much more controlled and refined sound. Beware though if you downshift and use the engine to help brake once and a while you will become addicted to the sound.

Boom tubes. That low burbling when decelerating is addicting. No popping, very little drone. Quality is not the greatest but there not in the $500- $800 range either. I paid $319 w/free shipping. Look for discount codes on forums.

+1 to what everyone is saying. Go with the boom tubes as they have a tip that's slightly resonated to control any unwanted noise while retaining the loudness.

Personally I love the sound of my Steedas. Low and deep because they use the Borla design with less fiberglass packing on the inside but that's just my preference.

    Here's a clip.
