Whats the Big No-No with 4.10's and a SC

all the adds ive read say go with 3.73s if your planning a power adder, can somebody please explain this..like whats the reason? and how do 4.10's perform with a Supercharger?

Yeah, I would say it is because of traction.

I wouldn't even consider getting 4:10's in my car. Traction sucks as it is. It's a good and a bad problem to have. :p
 
all i've heard is 3.73 or 4.10's, has any tried 3.90's with their s/c, or is that still a traction and running out of gear issue? or is that even worth it?

It's called changing your rev limiter to 6500 RPM. A nice set of valve springs helps, too.
Right. My rev limiter is set at 8000 rpm. I have 4.10's with a Novi 2000 and 28 inch slicks. I shift at 7000 rpm and trap at 130 mph in 3rd gear with a 4R70W.
