I tried to fix it for you, but no dice. I forgot that it doesn't change the thread title that is shown in the forum, only inside the thread itself.

Anyway, in the rear deck? I dunno. Why would you wanna put anything bigger than a 6x9 in the deck anyway?

I would go with the 2 8 inch speakers free air or 4 6.5 inch enclosed. To do this you will have to top mount the speakers in the deck, build a box in the trunk that will be the enclosure and mount all of the wiring in it also.

Well when I put the 8 in the back of my buddies car we did all of the cutting, mounted the free air's in there and then fabricated bars that strenthened the deck, it was ugly and required welding but it was strong.

How about this, 2-8in free airs with a head unit that has wires for 6 speakers, the 2 n the door 2 in teh dash and 2 in the deck run base blockers to thoes 6 speakers for my sound and get a small amp to run the 8in subs for my bass?

I think that would be enought for the sound department dont you think?

speaker wires dont connect to an amp. Pre-amp outputs connect to the amp. You can put free air subs in the door panels, theres no speaker behind the grill, on mine anyhow thats how it came. then you wont have to cut up the rear deck.

That could do just fine. In my hatch I run the Pioneer Premere Series head, 4 inch comp Alpine in the dash, 5.1/4 alpine Comps in the door, The oblongs are Alpine comps in the rear, plus 12 Rockford Fosgate Comps in the hatch in a full range box and a 350W Lightning amp.
