What's the difference between an Explorer 5.0...

What's the difference between a '96 Explorer 5.0 and a Mustang 5.0 engine? Not including the intake, heads and cam. Long block, forged pistons etc...?

Thats all that I know of. I believe aside from the cam, intake, and heads, thats it.

96 Explorer has GT40 iron heads (like the Cobra) and a GT40-based intake (flows almost identically to the Cobra). It doesn't have the 1.7 roller rockers the Cobra's did, the regular stamped steel 1.6 rockers. It has a sport utility cam that's designed for low rpm torque more than power. It's crank/rods/pistons are like the 93-95 model Mustangs.
