I know idont thinki ever see guys just wearing running shoes but maybe its a So cal thing. I wear Skate Shoes, right now i have some White DCs and some Black Osiris's They are agreat SHoes.

i used to skate quite a bit and still wear the shoes, currently i have some circas and some vans, i had some lakai's a while back and i loved them

Where my parents vacation house is in North Carolina, it's all hillbillies and no one cares if you have shoes on. I went everywhere with no shoes. We even went out to a few resturants with no shoes. Call me a hillbilly - I was damn comfortable.

Hey I live in NC! not everyone here is hillbillies, unless you were in the mountains, hillbillies live in the mountains, rednecks live everywhere else. and not all of NC is hillbilly/redneck, just a lot of it, but hell Im not

you need to visit a beach b/c if you walk around the sand w/ shoes just so you won't have to show off your sock tan, you might be regarded as a little off
i'm no rainbow sandals guy, but i have some quicksilvers and dvs's which are more comfortable then my regular shoes... but i hardly wear sandals anyways, beach=shoeless
