wheel Question?

i just got a 88 gt a few months ago and its got 315 35 17's on the rear and the wheel rubs on the wheel weel and i want to run that size tire. i got a few ideas on fixxin the problem just thought id see what other pople have done. let me know thanks

inner or outer wheel wells? rim offset?

it rubs on the inner wheel well. the offset is 9

I'm pretty sure he means the millimeter offset like 22mm, 25mm for example

inner fender well + BFH (big ....... hammer)= no more rubbing

well i know its a 9 inch offset cause the weel is a 17 x 9 but not sure of the metric conversion
