it had to be in the 90's last night but i still mannaged to get pretty consitant runs. my first was 14.31 @ 101, my secont was 14.25 @ 102, launched and boged right off the line i didnt launch high enough, thirs was 14.2 at 102, first three i was shifting at about 5500 and my last i was shiftin at 6000 and i ran 14.35 at 98. if i can get a decent launch i think i can get a 13.9 out if her. the one when i boged i was launchin at 2000 and the rest bout 2500. the first i think i launched high cause i spun first bad. i guess heat up tires good and launch at bout 3000 and dont pop clutch just roll in it and i will get on it.

With those 295's you should lower tire pressure and launch a little higher. Not bad runs though.

you can tell there is a good bit of spinning involved somewhere... possibly between first and second

What were your 60 foot times? From the 101 & 102 MPH you should have the HP to run in the 13's.

avoid the water, just spin enough to clean any rocks/sand off

2nd run fell on face at launch, didnt launch high enough
    2nd run 60': 2.29, 1/8 9.36@ 77.66, 1/4: 14.35 @ 101.74

3rd run was pretty good but still spun
    3rd run 60':2.24, 1/8 9.28 @ 77.73, 1/4: 14.26 @ 101.90

well there is a big thing at state capital raceway in baton rouge this weekend. just street racin at the track. no times no mph no nuthin. but it will give me some time to see what i can launch at and what tire pressure to run at. i will be doin a lot if tryin and seeing what imports i can smash. lol. but i will keep you guys posted on my progress. midnight madness is two weeks away again so i can see how my progress is getting. o and i was racin in 90 degree weather and no tellin what the humidity was.

Your 60's are holding you back.

You are definatly set for a 13.8/13.9 if you bring it down to a 1.9/2.0 60'.

May not get there on street tires, but its possible with practice.

If you are running street tires, DO NOT do a big burnout. Take tag4car's advice and just spin the tires over lightly to knock the debris off.

Drag radials, yes... smoke them up.
