Where are ABS speed sensors on 94-95?

I've picked up a down and out '95 from a friend that needed some help. The ABS started acting up when he got the car back from the shop that put his gears in. Do the 94-95 use the speed sensor/ABS rings pressed onto the end of the axles (near the brake) or do they use a "tone ring" inside the diff?

At the brakes. I do clean my sensors occasionally (being ferrous, they attract lots of chit).

Are there any codes?

The sensors often seize - many many guys have had to break the sensors when doing a gear swap. That might be the case here.

Here's some info that might help.

Good luck.

lol hissin i was just getting ready to say i broke mine off when trying to get the axels out for my 4.30 gear swap haha.... they held the axel up so i couldn't push it in far enough to get one axel out....bye bye abs...who needs it anyways lol

Thanks for posting Hissin! I went to the link and noticed this:

"For the 1998 and earlier Mustang ABS systems, there are NO Special Procedures or Considerations in bleeding the system."

This is contrary to what I have heard but the guy seems to know what he's talking about.
