Ok, A little while back, I hit a curb sideways, and it kinda bent my axle housing, and shattered my axle shaft... Along with that, it was going to be upgraded, but now I need the entire rear assembly, but can't find what I'm looking for... would like to step up to the 31spl, and get some 3.55s in it if I can... anyone know a website or something? thnx

Yea get an 8.8 from a junkyard and u can get the internals u want from summit.

You can check the corral classifieds for an 8.8 as well, i always see them forsale, maybe one will be local to u.

thought about that, but I'd really have no way of knowing how well it was taken care of, what the gears are, or if they're still properly lined up, not to mention, it took me the better part of a day to get mine off in the garage, however, I'm running out of options... I really have no problem just buying one new, I just don't know where from... (insurance is helping a bit for the cost...)
