Miami, Ok
got my summit ignition box today and i am confused to where some of the wires go

the big red and black are the 12 v and ground
orange and small black are + and - on coil

and i dont understand the install book on where the small red and white goes??

is my car a duraspark or TFI?
either way i cant tell what they are saying to splice them into

i am guessing something to do with the ignition module on the dizzy?

if someone could please tell me where the red and white wires go?

thanks!

Hook the red wire up to switched ignition.

Hook the white wire up to the tach wire, if you have a aftermarket tach. ( most are white, some are green )

If you still have the fact tach, find the green wire that comes from it, and connect to it.

heres the wire functions as it says in my manual

POWER LEADS

heavy red- direct to 12 v
heavy black-frame/chassis ground

TRIGGER AND COIL LEADS

small red - 12 v switch
orange - coil positive
small black - coil negative

white - connects to points, ignition amplifier output or the green wire of a timing accesory

voilet/green - for magnetic pickup ( wont be used)

yellow- tach

i got everything pretty much except i dont know for sure where to splice the white wire into

and is the connection to the tach neccesary for the system to work?
