The money pit's top has seen better days and time for replacement. I've used in the past EZ ON and Hartz tops and was satisfied with them, but that was over a decade ago. Was wondering what brand anyone has recently bought and which ones to avoid.

For a 90 LX- black- vinyl-

Also getting quotes from 700-1800 for this with install and new pads. I only need the top, not the rear portion and glass as that was replaced when I got the car.

I was quoted 1350 with new top, rear glass, pads and cables. same guy did it for 800 about 9 years ago on a different car. I think he uses the same brand that LMR sells.

not sure on the brand but the receipt that the previous owner of my 87 lx gave me for the top on my car was for $1366.50 installed. it looks great...

top $260
pads $90
glass window $260
labor $720
tax $36.50
----------------
total $1366.50
