Always stick w/ FRPP, they are the best. I bought some Richmond 4.10's but didn't install them cuz i went w/ some FRPP 3.73's. Motives and Richmonds arn't heat treated and to need to be broken it, also richmonds whine at about 2500-3000 rpms

From what I have read on serveral forums, FRPP gears are made by motive anyway. Granted to ford specs so they ar easier to setup but if done properly motives will be just as strong and will be just as quiet.

I have motive 3.90s and have zero noise whatsoever.

Motive makes FRPP gears that is true. But they are made to the Ford spec. You can use the master housing depth method to shim the FRPP gears, no other gears will be able to be shimmed using this easiest of methods.
