which starter is the best

i have a 90 mustang gt ive gotta replace the starter and was wandering about ditching the big one and getting one that has the solinoid on top of the starter like my 92 does so how do i make the smaller starter work??

My '92 still has a solenoid mounted on the inner fender and one on the starter itself.

YEAH BUT HOW WOULD I HOOK ONE UP ON MY CAR I HEARD YOU HAVE TO RUN ONE WIRE IN ORDER TO MAKE THE SMALLER STARTER WORK I JUST DONT CARE FOR THE BIG ONE THATS ON THERE THEY ARE TWICE AS HEAVY AND THEY DONT LAST AS LONG
