I had the General UHP tires for a while and really liked them. When I replace my Sumi's I am putting these on in the front. Not sure about the backs though due to the 315's...
I run Nitto NT555s all the way around, 275s in the front with no rubbing and 315s in the rear. Dry performance is ok, but the 315s are hardly any better than the 275 BFG g-Force Sports that I had on the rear before. Overall, they are good tires with decent dry and wet grip along with good tread life, so I guess that makes them good for a DD.
i had good experience with nitto 555s. DD'ed them for years on my old car. just put them on fronts again. just got mickey thompson et street radial IIs for the back
so far so good. they hook up tons better than the BFGs i had on there before. there is no plans for driving in the rain so don't ask about their wet traction.
