Which will be faster on a stock h/c/i car, shorties or longtubes?

Right now I have 1 5/8" longtubes but will be switching brands and possibly back to shorties. I had shorties with an x and I switched to longtubes with an h and the car didn't pick up any. I will be going with a prochamber this time for the final time, but I'm not sure whether I should go with shorties or longtubes again. This car will have stock heads, cam, and intake for a while. 4.10 gears, pulleys, drag coil overs, lake wood 90/10s and 50/50, throttle body, and draglites and nitto drag radials are my mods. Going for the goal of a 12.99 on stock motor. Need help asap so I can get this thing put together.

I think it was TMOSS that said he gained HP and TQ across the board with longtubes over shorties on a stock engine. I believe it. I think 1.5" primaries would be best though for the stock engine.

The longtubes give you alot more torque, not sure on the hp. I have heard though they cause alot of problesm on daily driven cars becase they sit so low. No experience of my own though.
