Widening wheels?

Does anyone know of a place in the mid-Atlantic area where I can get aluminum wheels widened? I'm wanting to go for a stock/sleeper look with my Cobra, and I was thinking it might be cool if I could get the factory wheels widened to 9".

I don't know anywhere in the Mid Atlantic area, but Weldcraft Wheels in Michigan will do it.

Thanks! After some googling I found a place in Wilmington, DE. I'll probably check them out. Most places I found are in California.

I was going to suggest weldcraft as well. I have no personal experience but people have posted pics of their work and I have yet to hear any complains.

I had some done by Weldcraft last year. It was only $50 more to ship them across country than to California..go figure!

I would leave the weld intact. I had them grind it down on the outside and it's just a big mess. On the inside where they left the weld it look's great! And I paid extra to have them do it!!

How much did it cost to ship your wheels out there? We're both on or close to the coast, so I imagine your cost would give me a good ballpark.

I'm actually on the West coast near Seattle. It was about $100 each way.

ups and fedex have special rates if you tell them its tires. i think it works for wheels too. stop in a ups store and ask about it.
