No way insurance is going to give me a new car, it's not even a thousand in damage. Yeah i was just a little pissed. I think if I was there he would have been going in a ambulance and me in a cruiser.

I would send her to the emergency room/ doctor immediately. Start documenting everything that is medically related. She may have some lingering problems with this. Statute of limitations to process a lawsuit is one year, so do not be so quick to settle with the insurance company.
sue his ass! 01GT eibach is right, get her down the docs asap and get her neck being stiff from the crash on file, similar thing happened to my mum a few years ago, she stopped to let sombody out........the chrysler voyager ( dodge caravan to you guys, same car differant name) slammed into her at about 30 as they didnt see her stopped for over 10 seconds! we took um to court and they settled before it got there!
