will a 93 computer power a 95 stang?

Will the 93 computer work in a 95 stang (both 5 speed cars and computers)? I tried it and the car started smoking white, and ran like total crap. Felt like timing was retarded, had no power. They are both EEcIV, what gives? I have heard the 93 computer is easier to tune on, but it won't even run the car, but mines not stock, so I don't know if it just plain won't work, or just not on MY car.

I don't think so. I beleve in 94 they went to EEC-V .

You can run the 93 computer in your SN car, but you have to buy a conversion harness (Pro-M) or take the time to find out how to do it yourself - some pin swaps are involved.
