Will Fender Rolling Save Me?

I got a good deal on a set of 15x7 Torque Thrusts a couple months ago and have since been looking for a suitable Mustang to put them on. I finally bought one yesterday evening, and couldn't wait to rip off the ugly hubcap-less pizza cutters and get some decent rolling stock on!

I checked around and found numerous people runnig the same wheel/backspace/tire as I tried to fit (15x7 with 3.75" BS, 225-60-15 tires), but this was my result today..

To my eyes, there is no way in hell even just rolling the fender lip will clear the tires going over anything larger than a popsickle stick. But searching around the net for pics shows a lot of really tight looking front wheel wells.

Any input appreciated!!

I have cragar ss that are 15x7 with 4.125 backspacing. I run a 225/60/15 tire. I have no rubbing issues with my car.

The only thing that you are running a wide tire with that backspacing.

Fender rolling might help.

You can always go get 195/60/15 or even go get some 50 series tires for the front.
