Will the Ford Racing 5.0L one piece oil pan gaskets fit the earlier 302s?

I think the answer is yes But call summit racing as they sell this gasket and ask them.

Nope, it'll leak. 5.0 oilpan rails are ribbed. Felpro makes a 1-pc 289/302 gasket that Autozone should be able to get.

Yeah, my research agrees with you except the 5.0 are smooth rails and the old are ribbed and won't work. The Felpro is around $50 so will probably go with the Felpro regular.

They work fine with the Cobra oil pan on my Shelby....no ribs.

Heck no. I installed one with my crate ford motor. Damn thing leaked so bad I thought I messed up the rear main. Spent all weekend changing it. PS cars suck to drop oil pan.
