windage tray

No, they aren't hard to install, but if you don't have a girdle, it installs under the main bolts. You have to remove the 2,3, and 4 main bolts I believe and install it. Retorque the main bolts to factory torque spec which I think is 65 ft.lbs. After installing the windage tray, rotate the crank to ensure that it has good clearance with the windage tray. With all stock internals it shouldn't be an issue, but stroker assemblies and aftermarket rods can cause clearance issues. If anything, it's usually the rod bolts that interfere. I know I had to tweak my windage tray and do some major clearancing on my girdle when I put mine together.
