window tint- california laws

All I got was a "fix it ticket." I never had to pay a $500.00 fine.

it totally depends on the cop... i had my doors tinted, had it for about a year, got pulled over a few times, once for racing... never had a problem, then one afternoon on my way home driving down a side street, i got pulled over for the tint (35%) and got the ticket... basically, fi they want to be dinks they will, if they dont then you are fine..
