I am trying P-Zero Neros; so far, no wrecks here in Milwaukee.
I am trying all season tires here in the Milwaukee area. I have driven in snow before (Southwestern Ohio), but not with a Mustang: only front wheel drives. I have P-Zero Neros. They should be better than my Eagle F1GSD3s. I'll post back with the results.
Tonight, I did have trouble getting up a short, steep grade out of a shared garage to the road. It was not cleared. There was 4 inches of snow on the parking area. However, I made it. I tried in first holding up the emergency brake a bit. That proved successful. I will try starting in 2nd like others are recommending.
The main roads are cleared here quickly. Without the clearing and salt, I won't try risking it again. I kept it at or below 30 MPH on unsalted, uncleared but packed snow roadway. I didn't have any tense moments.
