    what kind of speedometer does this trans use when its in a 95 gt ,mechanical or electric

    Electric on all the 94 and up regardless of what kind of tranny it uses.

    Both, sort of. It has a mechanical, gear driven speedometer sensor that bolts to the side of the transmission.

    if the gear in the sensor goes bad will this cause a clicking noise when slowing down and when the clutch is let out.Any input will be a great help . THANKS !

    It's possible, but unlikely. Uusually it just brakes and your speedo stops working. It's just a light plastic gear.
