Would i be safe if i run a 160* Thermostat instead of the 180* thermostat????

im just wondering if it would be ok to run 160* Thermostat on my stock 95 5.0L,,or if i should stick with the 180* thermostat??

Unless you have a speedbrain, or programable computer, then a 160 thermostat will make your car idle a little higher as it thinks its in "warm up" mode. The 180 should work good for your car.

Really hot weather you can run a 160.

I have a 180 but I live in PA.

160 is way to cold and it WILL hurt the engine over time !

I run 190+ in the winter and 180 in the summer, PINA YES.
