would my car be faster with the overdrive off in

    the 1/4 mile? i turned off the t/c but i left on the overdrive. any thought?

    Captain Obvious says it makes no difference, as you'll never get into OD in a 1/4 mile run :rlaugh:

    When I went to the track I turned the OD off. I only use the OD when I get on the highway, if I'm driving around town I always turn the OD off.

    As far as I know, you are supposed to turn the OD off if your going to be stomping the gas a lot. Check with Lentech to make sure if you are worried about it. Trans repair isn't cheap so it's probably a wise thing to do is call.
