OK, so I fell asleep on my watch and haven't visited for a while, and today I log in and what the he11 happened to this forum? Did we have to cut down on user participation or something, I'm an IT guy by trade and I am like a deer in the headlights with all this clutter. Sorry about the rant, nope, no I'm not sorry, LOL

Yes, basically this place sucks now. The mods haven't figured out that this forum format sucks, and that all the off topic sections need to be combined. There is no traffic here.
Is there traffic in other sections of the site? I'm wondering if the active members have actually declined and went elsewhere
Streamline the site, use the forum software that ls1tech and a lot of other forums do(not sure what it is), and send a message to all members about the changes. I would also change this section to just the "OFF TOPIC" section, in stead of spealicty fun forums.
I do agree with this just being the general talk forum like most of the other forums. There are probably a few guys that don't even lurk over to the specialty forum section.
Yeah it's died down. A lot of us went off and started posting in our super top secret classified facebook group where we can talk about things we aren't allowed to here. And others have gone to other places.

The changes on this forum remind me of when my local Credit Union I bank with hired some fast talking consultants and had them redo their website, I chatted with their employee who maintained it for years before they re did it and he said all the feedback has been poor and pretty much negative yet he is not allowed to pass it up the chain of command. Man they made everything backwards, they sorted transactions so that most recent were on the bottom and you had to scroll down to see them, go to page 2... go to page 3... and so on, cumbersome (and couldn't change the sort order) and a bunch of other stupid stuff, kinda reminds me of how NFL.com is all jacked up now, they blow even on the simple stuff like team records without a Wins and Loses column - and step down from my soap box
I agree. I have yet to get fast responses to anything in this forum anymore. The traffic must have died down since I was last working on my car. I've started to visit svtperformance.com. Anyone have any other recommendations?
Site traffic stats are as high as they've ever been. If you ( @gregski ) haven't been here continually, how can you safely discern, with objectivity, what's "good" or what's "bad"? Anyhoo, back to your regularly scheduled rant(ing).
Traffic is great, just look at all the members online right now. All 55 of them. And 675 guests. My guess is that traffic is all Google Spiders crawling the site with a handful of actual people.
