My old autologic chip is hosed. I need a tuner. I would like to get one that I can take to a local shop and dyno tune onto at a later date (after heads and cams).

I was thinking of buying from americanmuscle.com... Free email tunes for life.

I think the sf3/xcal3 is the same thing. (Please correct if I'm wrong). As far as tuners go I personally am going with sct sf3/xcal3; and yes you can save the shop's dyno tunes in it as stated on the sct sf3/xcal3 specs.

If you plan on dyno tuning i would buy from the tuner himself the usually cut you a break on the dyno time if you buy a tuner from them. I went to JLP in pa and they cut me a $100 off of the dyno because i bought my xcal from them.
