I'll preface my statement by saying that I love my car (as common, plain, and simple as any other fox as it may be) to the point of it being a removeable appendage. I have turned down sex (see story later) to work on this thing. It's important to me. BUT! If it ever came to selling it for pennies it to keep a roof over my head and the gubment off my back, bubba, you bet its gonna out the door quick. It's not our business to know how deep you are with the IRS. But if its half as bad as you have made it out to be, get rid of it for whatever you are able to so you can at least have a place to build another one. I don't see a debate here. Cars are just a material object, as much as we try to personify them. I may have to sell mine soon anyway to pay for a masters degree. It'll suck, I'll be miserable for a while, and I'll stand to lose $10k. The end benefit is I will be working to double my income and can build whatever I can dream up once I get that degree. My $.02.
