ZEX or GEARS? Help

  1. If you do a lot of highway driving, i would recommend 3.55's or 3.73's, 4.11's are good for the street and track, but you will wear out your engine at higher speeds becuase of the higher rpms that are associated with it.

  2. yeah, 4:10'S are way too much gear for me
i do a little freeway.highway driving mostly to and from work,
also a trip here and there

  3. yeah, i would say get the 3.73's. this is what i am going with. i would get 4:10's, but i love highway driving. i'm worried enough about getting 3:73's. it's not unusual for me to do 110mi/hr on the highway on a regular basis, so i think 4:10's would be too much. i just hope i will like the 3:73's. also, there is a caluculator for rpm's and stuff, maybe someone can post it, b/c i don't remember where to find it.

  4. Yea gears can drop your quarter mile by about 4 to 5 tenths. They get you into your powerband quicker. 3.73's on a Manual is equal to 4.10's on an automatic.
