Tripoli I'm told that if you switch to a non-stock gear ratio it is no longer required. I have 4.10 gears, so I gave it a shot and I've had no issues since I took it off nearly two years ago. You do have to keep the pinion snubber, which is held in place by the bolts that hold the harmonic balancer. I went to Home Depot and got a pair of nuts, shorter bolts, washers, and lock washers, and that did the trick just fine. 11-15-07
MustangMan00 hey man, does the harmonic balancer on the differential do anything im wanting to take it off for weight 11-14-07
