If you weren’t already aware, it should come as no surprise the Ford Mustang is a completely global phenomenon…and will continue to be, so long as petrol-powered automobiles are permitted to breathe on the planet’s surface.  Over in Poland, local Mustang fanatics managed to pump out and awesome  fan tribute to the legendary pony car.  Great, right?  Just a nice tribute video montage–no one’s ever done that before, right?  Tongue-in-cheek aside, the video was a total hit and has inspired other parts of the world, this time in South America, to compile their on own fan tribute to the car.  These Brazilian Mustang mad-hats ensured that every generation was featured and also gave props to several sponsors making it all possible.

On the fringes of the official Ford Mustang customizer web app release, Ford has also debuted its latest installment in the 2013 Ford Mustang marketing campaign to keep everyone pumped-up.  The 2013 Mustang is going to capitalize upon what has made the Ford Mustang ever-so-popular since its inception back in the mid-60s; its customizability.

The video spot we have inside for you is set to release during the Daytona 500 this weekend (although, it should have been debuted during the Super Bowl, we think), so there are plenty of chances for Ford fans to get wind of what’s coming next.  What is unique in this advertisement is the fact Ford has opted to show how well the 2013 Mustang connects to its ownership base, more so than bragging on its 420hp V8 or the fact the car is coming up on its 50th Anniversary–a wise move, we think, since Americans are going to easily face $4+ per gallon of gas this spring/summer.  People are going to be focused on how a car fits them, not how it might drain their pocketbooks…

Looks like there is another 2012 Ford Mustang to hit the streets, based upon the already awesome ROUSH Stage 3 (RS3) Mustang crafted by ROUSH Performance.  This 2012 Mustang “Hyper Series” Stage 3 boasts a whopping 540hp and 465ft-lbs of torque, has a fully-tuned suspension capable of pinning over 1G of lateral force, and of course, continues to follow in the steps of warranted craftsmanship we all know well enough from ROUSH Performance products.

So what sets the Hyper Series Stage 3 apart from its vanilla namesake?  A barrage of 4 limited edition appearance packages set to mark the cars with a bit more panache and attractiveness than what’s normally expected by the ROUSH enthusiast crowd.  There are 288 graphics and paint color combos that could be had by any prospective ROUSH Mustang owner.  The Hyper-Series brings on an offering of “four spectacular and unique graphics and interior colors that provide a customized appearance to the RS3.”

So the wheel continues to turn & burn regarding the next iteration of the Ford Mustang coming in the 2015 model year.  The 2015 Mustang is poised to receive what could be one of the most dramatic redesigns the late-model Mustang has seen in contemporary times.  We already know the 2013 Mustang is going to get some mild touches, but nothing overly dramatic to say the least.  So, just what can we expect to see in the 2015 Mustang?

Late in 2010, we told you about a Ford Mustang TV show which would bring about a new series focused upon everything Mustang!  The problem here today is getting the funding & backing to make this vision a reality.  The fine folks behind the project have already reached out to every major broadcaster in hopes of getting this bird out of the nest, but guess what…it takes coin…and lots of it.

Inside the Press Release is a way each one of you Mustang fans can actually make a real difference in this project.  Be sure to give this one a close look, as we think this is going to be a pretty cool deal coming to fruition.

Ever wonder what it’d be like to pilot a 2012 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang out on the track?  Some of you have had plenty of track time, for sure, but we’re guessing the number of ROUSH racers, especially the 2012 Mustang variety, are limited in number.  So he we are, bringing you a featured video from ROUSH Performance, exhibiting professional driver Billy Johnson at the reins, taking on Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia.  Pictures are worth a thousand words and videos are nearly priceless, so keep going to see some seriously sweet Mustang hot lapping action!

After the last round of Royal Purple’s Forum Wars, we were once again excited to hear that StangNet was going head-to-head again with My350Z to see just what the Ford Mustang and Nissan coupe, along with the driver mod, had in store for some good ole track competition.  There’s always good fun to be had when you get some good smack-talk in, then get the chance to prove the check can be cashed on the race track.  The Forum Wars pits various Internet communities against each other to see just what car and driver combo comes out on top.

This time around, the racing results ended up with the 2011 Mustang GT … well, just watch the video footage and see for yourself!

Unless you’ve avoided blockbuster movies and the myriad of children’s toys surrounding Pixar’s smash-hit, CARS, then you’re well-aware that June 24th will bring its sequel, CARS 2, to the silver screen.  What’s even cooler about the follow-up to the 2006 hit is we’ll get to see a lot of the old crew back, as well as many new faces grilles…including a classic 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang, personified by sports telecaster Brent Musburger.  And of course, Brent will fulfill the role Bob Costas held in the first go ’round.
