This year’s 2009 Camp Steeda event held host to loads of Ford Mustang enthusiast entertainment and also an action-packed debut of the new 2010 Mustang the team has been working upon hard to perfect: the next Steeda Q-Series Mustang. The video shared here shows a great sample of the new Steeda Mustang testing out several new performance and suspension components which are later destined to become the standard for the Steeda Q-series fleet. Test mules are commonly adorned with camouflage garb and padding, but these were disguised to look like regular 2010 Mustangs sans Steeda applique to attract the “just right” amount of attention. The Ford Mustang “X-1″ and the Dodge Challenger “VAPOR” are two new promotional products of this new found coalition force. With more gadgets inside of each than a high-schooler’s backpack, both of these eye-catchers are set to turn heads and rally allies wherever they cruise. The two cars will be part of the 2009 Super Car Tour – a new US Air Force recruiting concept that started about a month ago. Alright, Ford Mustang fans…it’s time again to gather up in Myrtle Beach and celebrate the Legend at the Mustang Week 2009 Car Show. This year’s event will kick off on July 20th and continue through the 26th. This 4th anniversary gathering will feature a spectacular car show, a club dinner, and a track event (1/4 time slip shootout). SVTOA has a few special prizes and some guest appearances in store for everyone in attendance, so this year’s show certainly sounds like it will live up to the hype! With all the focus upon efficiency and safety these days, some might think the new Ford Mustang (a sports car known to all) might not have the best track record when it comes to safety and passenger protection. The team at R2C has taken the wraps off a new Ford Mustang air intake system with an effective, patented Square Tube Technology, set to boost the throttle response in the 4.0-liter V6 Mustang. The kit is designed to fit model years 2005 through 2008 and features an oil-free air filter element and looks good while bringing in the fresh air underhood. Dyno gains have been posted at 9rwhp on a regular fuel tune, so there’s a pretty good bang for the buck in this kit for the Mustang coupe crowd!
