The event started at Steeda with a barbecue lunch served up by the Steeda staff. Within an hour the entire area around Steeda central was swamped with all sorts of high-performance Fords.

With rain clouds threatening the hoard formed a 2-mile-long line for the trip to Moroso Motorsports Park. The 38-mile caravan up to the Ford Power Festival started just in time as the sky opened up in a typical South Florida downpour.

Over 12,000 people attended the Ford Power Festival during the weekend. The response by crowd to the Steeda New Car Program vehicles on display was extremely positive with vehicles being sold right at the show by Bev Smith Ford and Steeda Autosports. Additionally the aftermarket enthusiasts were excited to see the SEMA Ford Technology car on display and Ford's involvement with the aftermarket industry.

Overall the second annual Steeda Stampede was a great success, adding brand excitement to both Mustang and Focus.
