The Boss Man Donald Farr video feature

The man behind the definitive literature of all things Ford Mustang (and especially the BOSS timeline), Donald Farr (Mustang Monthly editor), has been in the Ford limelight a lot recently, and he’s now featured in this CarsInContextTV video, putting in his two cents on the “state of the Mustang”, so to speak.  The video might seem a little long at first, but if you can stick it out, it’s definitely worth it.  It’s just cool to see spots like this where authors can finally come off the pages and put an audible voice to their opinions.

So, if you’re super bored at work or have a few minutes before shunting off to bed, give the video a view for some good, informal Mustang chatter.

Ford the 2012 year, Wards Auto has named the Ford Mustang Boss 302 V8 engine as one of the 10 best in contention.  After capping 2011 with honors, the Ford 5.0 redux has once again shown its blue blood takes the cake in the categories of excellence, refinement, quality, and most importantly to us, power with reliability.  What’s more, the Mustang’s 5.0 V8 was the largest displacement engine in the top 10 and the sole v-banked 8-cylinder to receive notoriety.  Even more interesting?  The 5.0 is amongst good company on the top 10 list, with other makes like Audi and BMW padding up the additional awards.

LA Auto Show: 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302

2013 Boss 302

It’s no secret any longer…the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is back and is here to stay.  The updated 2013 Boss 302 builds upon the inaugural success of the 1970s legend’s rebirth in the 2012 model year.  How, you say?  Insane graphics, new paint hues, a rear seat delete, and so many more tweaks that make this car significantly resemble its namesake from the muscle car’s pinnacle era.

We had the first-hand chance to rip up the track in a 2012 Boss 302, and it was quite possibly the best performing, and yet, most refined Mustang to date.  It’s crazy to imagine just what the Ford team could possibly do to make such a great thing…even greater.

There’s so much more in store than we can lead in upon within the confines of a simple introduction, so you’d better check all the mess out in the official PR from Ford!
