The 2013 Ford Mustang has made its official debut at the 2011 Los Angeles International Auto Show. We have come to expect the unexpected with all things Mustang in the past contemporary generations, so seeing the next phase of the legendary pony car, simply put, keeps the passion for this automobile on fire.  The 2013 Mustang receives some exterior touches to exude a more aggressive grille & front fascia, fantastic LED lighting, and several different “nice to have” features that make the Mustang the much more appealing to a wider audience.

What’s more, the 2013 Mustang offers up some of these nifty features without losing any of its core panache and attractive sportiness.  SelectShift automatic transmissions, LED bar lighting, a 4.2″ LCD interactive display, braking assist on hills for manual transmissions…just scratch the surface of the awesomeness that is the next Ford Mustang.

After seeing how much attention went into the 2013 Ford Mustang for the masses, we knew that the 2013 Shelby GT500 would have an even more impressive showing on the docket in Los Angeles today.  The 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 will be propelled by an all-aluminum 5.8-liter (351 c.i. anyone?) supercharged V8, rolling along with 650hp and 600 lb-ft of twisting force.  Additionally, Ford and the SVT team with Shelby’s crew left no stone unturned with updates and improvements to the entire powertrain, braking systems, gearing, and suspension tuning.

If that’s not enough, the new Shelby GT500 also gets a redesigned front grille, providing additional downforce at speed, an menacing splitter, roaring exhaust, and lots more fine touches any Mustang enthusiast will appreciate.

It’s no secret any longer…the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is back and is here to stay.  The updated 2013 Boss 302 builds upon the inaugural success of the 1970s legend’s rebirth in the 2012 model year.  How, you say?  Insane graphics, new paint hues, a rear seat delete, and so many more tweaks that make this car significantly resemble its namesake from the muscle car’s pinnacle era.

We had the first-hand chance to rip up the track in a 2012 Boss 302, and it was quite possibly the best performing, and yet, most refined Mustang to date.  It’s crazy to imagine just what the Ford team could possibly do to make such a great thing…even greater.

In case you’ve been under a rock for…well, quite some time, we’re here to officially announce the fact our latest project Ford Mustang is currently on the Interstate from Sweet Home Alabama up to Tulsa, OK, for the 2011 Mid-America Shelby Meet.  We hope we are able to run into a few of you at the show & the races, as it’s most definitely going to be an awesome time, as has been in years past.  Built to Cruise (our 2011 5.0 Fox swap Mustang) will be on the prowl and on display, so be sure to stop by and say hello to the team that made it happen!

After all of the excitement seemed to be cooling down at the 2010 Mustang reveal in LA, Ford made sure to keep everyone’s attention piqued with an attractive display of Mustangs customized with new Ford Performance Parts for the mildly redesigned car. Ranging from dress-ups to handling packages and of course, some power enhancing pieces, it seems Ford isn’t one to let us down easy on this exciting ride to the 2010 and beyond. Many people were a bit disappointed at the fact there were no monumental powertrain changes, but the release of the Ford Performance Parts lineup makes the bitter pill a little easier to swallow. Ford left Mustang fans worldwide hanging yesterday with a delay in the 2010 Mustang teaser image release, but we were able to grab hold of the new pony car’s latest sexy shot and make sure you got your eyes on this one.  After seeing a limited amount of exterior photos (the hood and front fender), we finally get our sights set on the rear of the 2010 Mustang. From this photograph’s perspective, we can see the updated rear end, the new ducktail spoiler, and the smoothed taillight bezel. The retro three-pillar design is still present, but the assembly seems to be styled to fit more in line with the rear bumper. With just over a week until the official debut at the LA Auto Show, we are excited to see the unveiling.
