2015 Ford Mustang convertible video tour

It was just over a month ago when we first saw a solid cut of the 2015 Mustang convertible, and now, we get to take a video tour of all of the design features the fine folks at Ford have wrapped up into this one.  Oh, and in case you didn’t know–it’s April this week.  We’re getting closer to # 50, everyone!

With statistical measures placing the convertible at about 20% of units sold for the Ford Mustang, the design team has placed a lot of effort and time into this edition of the Mustang convertible.  From stuffing the trunk with bodies golf bags, to reducing the amount of latch “work” to get the top down, this 50th Anniversary Mustang rag-top is going to be one which sets the tone for many cruises & parades to come in the near future.

2015 Ford Mustang convertible enters stage left

The more we hear and read about the 2015 Ford Mustang, the more we are simply excited to see the car up close & personal.  Why?  We’re pretty sure Ford’s drawn up all of the charts and pulled all the punches for this one.  If you take a good look at the 2015 Mustang convertible, you’re going to have to agree that it’s a seriously polished piece.  Why’s that?  There’s just so much thought put into improved design–especially on the convertible.  Where there used to be bare frames, there are snazzy headliners for the top frame and cover.  There are also more supporting structure braces to help eliminate edginess.  Cloth top material caps off the 2015 Mustang convertible, and what makes it the most special fact of all, is Ford offers just one convertible model in their entire portfolio.

That’s right–the next iteration of our favorite pony car will also hold some ragtop exclusivity with it.  Now that’s clout you can take on a topless cruise with.

Late Model Restoration – Fox Mustang quarter window guides

If you’re a Fox body Ford Mustang convertible owner, you’re sure to empathize with the news bite we are sharing with you all today.  Most all of the 1983 to 1993 Mustang convertible specimens we have run across suffer from floppiness in the 1/4 window.  Many people attribute this failure to weak guide bushings; however, more often than not, the cause is a broken 1/4 window guide rod mount.

Late Model Restoration is hot on the aftermarket scene with a solid new solution to this wiggly problem.  Keep reading to check out their latest Mustang convertible improvement!
