| Ford Motor Company and the United States Postal Service held a ceremony today to commemorate the issuance of a special stamp honoring the Ford Mustang as one of the most enduring symbols of the century. The stamp depicts the original 1964 ½ model Mustang. Dozens of Mustang enthusiasts attended the event, along with Ford and U.S. Postal Service representatives. C'mon... They are announcinc the "new" stamp? Give me a break.. That announcement was made months ago. And I see, in "behind the scenes: you show a supposed car used for the stamp, but no mention of the petitions that 100's of clubs helped to circulate, including the club that started it all--the Badgerland Mustang Club in Wisc.
PLUS, it was a petition for a special series of Mustang stamps, not one where you have to pay $5 for one Mustang Stamp... |
