How does an A/F sensor hook up to the Tweecer?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to find a good answer to this. I am planning on getting a Tweecer RT and am looking at AF sensors. From what I have read, most of the A/F sensors have a 0-5V analog output and this is what is used to input the A/F ratio into the Tweecer to allow it to datalog the AF ratio.
I have also read, that this output from the AF sensor goes to a wire running from the EGR which then needs to be disconnected.
I have also read that you can get a Dataq device that will allow you to use your EGR.
I am hoping someone could go into this in a little more detail. I know most of the AF sensors come with add on devices that will measure rpm and then you can datalog AF and RPM using the sensor manufacturers proprietary software. However I would prefer not to spend $$ on something I don't need. I am running EGR and would prefer not to have it disabled.
Also is there any benefit to having the Tweecer read the AF vs having an rpm module read the AF and rpm and log it to its own software?

Thanks

2 options

1) datalog AFR from the WB O2 via the EGR sensor. If you are using the EGR then this is not desirable...

2) datalog AFR from the WB O2 via the DATAQ. The dataq is a small device that is designed to be an independant datalogger. The tweecer RT is configured to take advantage of up to 4 channels from a dataq unit. The dataq you are looking for is about 25 bones.

How do you hook up the WB output through the EGR, just run the wire to the EVP wire going to the computer? For example if pin 45 is for the EVP signal, just run the WB 02 sensor to pin 45 right? Thanks, Sean

I believe that is correct.

However, I am not 100% positive, as I never plan to do this myself.

Hopefully some one else can confirm?
