It's a good system, but most aftermarket EFI systems are way over priced IMO.

Look in to Megasquirt. You can have the entire thing for less then $500 by the time you have it installed in your car. You can even set it up so there is no cutting of wires or replacing sensors or anything on a Mustang. Just plug and play :D

I will deff. look in to megasquirt.

On a side note, I would like to say outloud that you guys ROCK. The vast knowledge of information on this website is just ridiculous!! Thankyou all for your help:D

I believe the owner of the Big Stuff company, was originally part of another company that did standalones. Possibly had something to do with FAST.

King, don't bother with megasquirt or any other computer setup.
Use the money to buy better parts for your engine instead.
There is almost no gains to be had on a 302 NA setup with computer crap.

I would recomend getting whatever your local tuner has the most experiance with, I have a FAST it was 1500 bucks and I love it. but XP is right if you have a NA302 buy a chip or a PMS and have someone tune your car you'll gain 10 hp's and lie to all your friends telling them you picked up 50hp.

if your looking down the road buy something that most people use b/c at the end of the day your tuning wont be as good as someone with years of experiance. Your not going to spend 20K on your setup and tune it yourself, unless your crazy

Well, if you assemble it correctly, with the turbos you should be able to get the car to run good.
Then if you want improve it or improve some of the driveability, something like the PMS may help.

ya, i think from my readings, that I will have to run the turbos at 8 or 9 psi cause my block will aparently split in half at around 500HP. That being said, I think a kit such as this will be a waste of my money considering I am not trying to wrench out as many HP as I can. I bet its expensive too. I already have about $1200 in fuel system upgrades picked out. So I think until I get a stronger block, I'll stay away from stand-alones.

I personally think the BS3 is one of the top stand alone setups availble currently, it runs around $2500....

I agree with these guys for your set-up a PMS would work just great, and you can put the extra money towards saving for a DART based motor so you can crank up the boost.
